Artist Residencies
Inkfish Foundation’s Artist in Residence (AIR) program is a unique opportunity for emerging and established artists to immerse themselves in a vibrant, creative community while advancing their artistic practice. As a cornerstone of our mission to nurture creativity and foster collaboration, the AIR program provides artists with the time, space, and resources needed to create, experiment, and engage with the community.
Program Features:
Studio Space: Residents will have access to a dedicated workspace tailored to their artistic needs.
Community Engagement: Artists are encouraged to interact with the local community through workshops, open studios, artist talks, or collaborative projects.
Support and Resources: Participants will receive support from the Inkfish Foundation team, access to our network of artists and mentors, and materials or equipment necessary for their projects.
Showcase Opportunities: At the conclusion of the residency, artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work or host a performance at our Community Arts Hub, highlighting their creative journey during the program.
Who Should Apply?
The program is open to artists across all disciplines, including but not limited to visual arts, performance, literature, and digital media. We seek individuals who are passionate about their craft and eager to share their vision while engaging meaningfully with the Inkfish community.
Duration and Application Process:
Residencies typically last 4-12 weeks, depending on the artist's project and goals. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with selections made based on artistic merit, the proposed project’s alignment with our mission, and the potential for community impact.
